My hat is off to you, Rich, for keeping your movement design parameters consistent for the particular games you’ve designed. And I think that by doing so you have achieved, in part, that to which I, General Collins and General Lynn have alluded in this conversation; a general, logical stand...

Antony, I can well understand the designers's differences in tweaking VP's for various reasons, as those adjustments serve to mold and create the battlefield objectives. But the differences in alloted movement points for the various unit types on the field, even supply wagons, would seem completely ...

Has anyone else noted the discrepancy? Both games indicate a movement factor of 10 for supply wagons, as seen on the unit c...

All theories aside, everyone knows that there is a direct correlation between between Hurricanes, hot air and hot water! Of hot air the south generates a regular, on-going, ample supply; and of hot water they produced great quantities for themselves anytime they attempt to take the field! [;)] Brig....

We're sorry to have to put you through this, Hank! I don't know how we do it either, but its evidently a necessary thing. It seems more than clearly obvious that you've done something wrong, otherwise it wouldn't have to happen! Keep safe. Brig. Gen. Jos. C. Meyer Brig. Gen. Jos. C. Meyer Sec...

Major General Groce, I believe that you'll find Brown's story of Cushing to be a reflective and interesting biography, especially if you are an student of the eastern theater and the Army of the Potomac. I read it some years ago, principally because I wanted to find out some more about this fallen h...

I'm sitting here on this rock casually and wistfully sharpening my sabre while I await for some stalwart Rebel commander to figure out how to correctly download the Honey Springs mod and finally arrive upon the field! My whole command has been given the day off once again, and I fear for their moral...

Gentlemen, The paymaster has just delivered the first stipend for my new rank, and the drinks are on me! I'm told the Mason-Dixon Tavern accomodates most every drink and table fare desired by the ACWGC cadre, so I'm reminding my bedraggled opponents from the Rebel Army of Georgia that there's plenty...

The computer-controlled defensive fire of the infantry and artillery may only be adjusted for range when the Automatic Defensive Fire option is selected. This is applicable to both turn-based and phased-based play. As General Mihalik states, the selections apply to all of the infantry ...
