Well Sir, a merciful Providence will do strange things; and boxcars will turn up just when they are wanted the least. I don't know that it really comes from serving a morally bankrupt state, it may have more to do with probability. But seriously, you do raise a very interesting question. Any idea ho...

General, Here is a consultant's trick I picked up while a prisoner in the 21st Century: right-click on any of the tab scroll icons at the bottom left of your worksheet and a list of all the tabs will pop-up for your use. David, You might check to be sure all of the .exe files copied. Antietam was one of the titles I tested. Worked fine. (I did note that there was a slight variation in the "cpn.exe" file name for each game, so you might grab all the exe files to be sure) BTW Antietam is an excellent HPS offering and ...

General Meyer <Salute!> Sir, Thank you very much for the excellent tip. Following the General's instructions, I was able to create a single CD from which to launch all of my Civil War and Napoleonic titles. This is most appreciated. No more tell tale rattles to disturb the sleeping camp as the tray ...

Sirs, <Salute> No brag, just fact. I have found communication within the Army of Georgia to be excellent, especially for a volunteer organization. Communications coming down the AoG chain of command during my assignments to I Corps and III Corps have been entirely appropriate, never intrusive or sel...

General McOmish, Sir <Salute!> Sir, pardon the interruption, but the results of the ale analyses from the samples you have been collecting have just come back from the London laboratory. I have the envelope here. These results show: Miss Clarissa’s – medium light, alcohol content 6%, very nice T...

General, Suh <Salute> I too have sent several riders through my lines, and those of General Kunz, but all have vanished without a trace. I had thought perhaps my own boys were mistook for spam, understandable given the limited diet of bacon and corn meal, and the fact that they would have been turni...

Sirs, Up to date contact information for like-minded gamers is the prime reason many of us joined up. Because we are busy people, we benefit from player rosters that offer a high probability of successful contact. There is nothing more discouraging to a new club member than sending e-mail to dead ac...

Lt. Bridges, Welcome to the ACWGC, Sir! You will find that fire modifiers against units in column can be pretty unfavorable, especially when range and density combine. If a unit has an opportunity for defensive fire, an attacking column can suffer more heavily than it would in line. However, once yo...
