There was a blurb about it in the most recent "America's Civil War" magazine. Very interesting.

I had a battle going at Purdy (scenario cf_c1u4.scn) with a fine opponent, when he had to go on Leave of Absence. I thought it looked like a fine scenario and I would like to find an opponent to play it from start to finish. I am open to optional rules. Please send rider to fishinphil2(at)comcast(do...

My experience with fear in the game is very different from yours. I have had fresh veteran units break when they weren't even in enemy LOS, simply because their neighbor broke, and that was with rout limiting on. I shudder to think what would happen with rout limiting off! One of the most frustrati...

You are both cautioned, however, not to engage in any celebratory drinking bouts with the Rebel general, McOmish! The last new Union officers to do so woke up the next day deprived of both their swords and boots! We understand he later sells these items to the black market women of New Orleans in r...

I've only been here 6 months, so I can give you a new member perspective. As was so eloquently stated above, involvment is the key. The training programs in place for cadets is a great start, but don't stop there. Keep nurturing the junior officers in your command, whether it be through MP games, to...

It's a minor gripe with the ACW series but there's a real sticking point with the Panzer Campaigns: The next turn button is right next to the change formation button and I've had a couple of mishaps recently. Very frustrating when big turns take hours to play and accidently advancing the turn overw...
