I have a nice setup for game files for clubs. For each Club and era I have a folder with a Game Files Done and Game Files Sent folder in each along with the shortcuts to the game start .exe and Saved folders. As I do each turn I put the file my opponent sent me into the Done folder and the file I se...

Reinstalling any of the games leaves behind your game files in the Saves folder. The game folder and the Saves folder would remain with your game files. If you were to uninstall your game and then delete the game folder you would lose your club game files. Its been that way since the dawn of JTS tim...

I have a game of the Battle of Shiloh going with Sean Turner but once that one ends I will be retiring from the club for good. Its been a nice year of gaming here again. I just am not interested in the pre-20th Century games like I used to be. The WW2 games are simpler to play and I enjoy them a lot...

Yes, for 10 years they had a nice "all WDS games under one tent" club. I was very sad to hear about Scott's passing. I was a member in TWS when it first started and again starting last May when I rejoined. Offered me a place to play the Panzer Campaigns and Squad Battles series games with ...

Welcome to the club, Sergio! You will find fancy Zoave uniforms in the CSA and USA armies so we do have them as well. No escaping them! ROFL

(a rumor has it that Gen. Scott Ludwig was last scene at the Richmond Ball in a Zoave uniform .... )  8) :D

Same thing happened in the Napoleonic Battles series, gents. I just leave the rule off. When I have done an analysis of it all it turns out that the losses of leaders usually tend to balance out. Only if someone is unwise to leave R.E. Lee or Meade out in the open to be captured (or other top leader...

Good article, Ned. I noted this statement though: "At the end of the fighting, the rebels would suffer 19% casualties, compared to the Union's staggering 34%. The Union also lost six guns, and the Confederates captured dozens of its horses. It would be the second-bloodiest battle of the war for...

Oh I am sure that the current AI can give a much better challenge than I have giving my opponents lately. ROFL But honestly, it always surprises me that over 70% of the customers play AI only. Now that WDS has a public forum its helping to connect them to the clubs or just to pick up a game. I doubt...

With a "Seniority" value at the end of the leader string in the OB files it could be done. Just a number would suffice. Also if someone like Newton is available for Corps command his "replacement value" (I am calling it) would have a "flag" saying that any corps command...
