I too have been wondering. I have been reading the book "The Last Battles of the Petersburg Campaign" and I was surprised by the size of some of these battles and how they played out. I had been guessing it would be out any day now and have been guessing that since the mobile app came out!

In the Napoleonics, in turn based play all the units in line can cycle from top to bottom and fire, but since they "move," all but the first one to fire get 50% penalty. I played the Mule Shoe this past summer as the yanks and was slaughtered. I took most of the first line of trenches but ...

I can take over Hancock. Keep me away from the Cavalry, I will ruin them!

Ernie, have fun. Overland is one of my favorite titles and, despite the Federal numbers advantage, a lot of the scenarios are very well balanced.

I know it is a different scale, but in France 14 and EP 14 the visibility during the day tends to be 1 to 4 hexes, with occasional air recon that provides limited information. It makes the game so, so different--you can lose track of whole corps if you are not doing recon and sometimes "bumping...

Bummer Kennon, I thought this looked really interesting. Did you post this over at Grogheads? I feel like that is perhaps the most active wargaming forum I know of. If you ever make progress, I would coordinate playtesting! I have no technical skills. Also, I bought Brother Against Brother but have ...

3 titles, very interesting!
Petersburg has already been admitted (and I have tinkered around with the mobile app)
I too would guess a Valley campaign (maybe 2), and the other being a collection of small battles, likely out west. but who knows. But I await them all!

I do monitor fatigue and try to pull units back before they get to the dreaded 3rd level of fatigue. In shorter scenarios or a crisis this goes out the window..

Gents, Please allow me to sing the praises of Overland. Sure, we can argue about whether the Rebs can win the Wilderness or the long Spottsylvania battles (I have lost both of them as the Rebs), but it has so many interesting and well researched scenarios. In the fall of 2015, I played one of the 10...
