I remember beating up on poor Richard when he first joined the Club. He crossed Blackburn Ford with a full brigade or two at Bull Run and then quickly discovered that men cannot ford a creek at will! It was a grand battle as viewed from the Confederate side! Blake, I remember that thrashing like it...

As some of you may know, I did a complete weather mod for Gettysburg for the old Banshee team last year. The mod was inspired by the desire to simulate the June and mid-July rainstorms as well as introducing gradual dawn/dusk and afternoon haze effects similar to the other HPS games that feature wea...

Anyone ever seen this before? This is from the Brown's Ferry Crossing scenario in Chickamauga. Not only does a Union unit start the game in the River, but other units can enter the Water at will...

I would have to go with Monocacy and Fort Stevens for sheer audacity. I don't know why we never learned in school about how close the rebs actually got to Washington... a full year after the defeat at Gettysburg.

After you both have set your options on the strategic display, The player who moves first will start the resultant scenario and the 'rules' options will appear. it takes about 3 emails when starting a campaign.

Don't forget to set encryption before the first player ends his turn.

Remember - If you are playing with Old Banshee graphic mods, you will need to reload their Antietam mod (at least the oob files) after you patch up. Otherwise you will see some irregularities on the unit panel graphics. No effect on gameplay either way.

I'm going to watch for this one closely. Being the same scale as th HPS CW games it will likely provide some serious competition, especially if the graphics and AI show promise.

The player can still get an idea of the type of artillery by viewing the units in 3D. It gets a bit jumbled when there are multiple types, but perhaps that is how it should be.

Another trick (for pbem only) is to toggle off 'on map results', and when the first fire results box shows up click it off by clicking the "X". It should cycle through combat quickly, however you won't be able to see the casualty results of each combat. For me, sometimes that's a good thin...

Joe, that's correct. New pdt files, new scenarios, new campaign. Nothing is overwritten, but you would now have twice as many scenarios as before, including the campaign scenarios. I had to do it this way because the game can't tell if a player has modified his pdt or not. So, both players must have...

Thanks for updating this Frank! Guys, this mod reproduces all of the Gettysburg scenarios and the Campaign game with Historical weather patterns. Based mainly on Ken Miller's original variable visibility files but expanded for the historically rainy, misty, and/or muddy days from the Campaign betwee...
