Hate First Bull Run. Don't know why. Only played once. But hate it. Sorry.

I am interested in Antietam-related battles and thought South Mtn of manageable length.... and a lot closer fight than the initial strengths might suggest, with the Rebel reinforcements later in the game.

How about HPS Antietam_064, Battle of South Mountain? All optional rules on except Manual Defensive Fire, Weak ZOC, Full Melee Defensive Fire, and Artillery Capture. Can do 3-5 turns per week.

MG Reneau,

I will gladly accept the challenge and step forward as a Union volunteer for a Stone's River MP game. If my Union brethren do not likewise respond in short order, I will also gladly give your Colonel some 1-v-1 experience.

It does seem that the Sons of the South are increasingly reluctant to step forward.

I will step forward as well. I have recently acquired JTS Overland and am anxious to experience "The Wilderness" for the first time. If you are still in need of an opponent, send e-mail with scenario suggestions and Optional Rules preferences to...... michaelaosborne at sbcglobal dot net.

Lieutenant Hart,

Should no Rebel step forward, I would be happy to go on manuevres with you. I have owned HPS Peninsula for some time but have not had the opportunity to play against another live opponent. I am at your disposal, should you require. <salute>

Tenete Colonnello,

If you have not secured an opponent for Gettysburg or Antietam, I will volunteer.

Brig General Schmidt:

If you are still seeking an opponent, I will offer up myself. Am open to smaller or larger scenarios. Will be off work over the holidays and can handle a high turn volume.

A second Rebel has come forward and, in addition to "Marching to Hagerstown", I am now "Racing to Bull Run" too. Thanks to BG Burns and MG Siragusa for accepting battle. Best of luck, gentlemen.
