Congrats, guys!!! Another Rich Walker design with maps by Doug S. and graphics by Frank "THE MAN" Mullins and co. with a lot of help from others. Really looking forward to more games from you guys. :) Note: in trying to download my game I got an error message which looks like this: This XM...

Colonel Peters, You don't mention whether you are referring to the full Campaign or one of the scenarios. A number of scenarios have problems. Which side depends on the scenario. This is natural because most of these battles were decided by the maneuvering that took place before the engagement. How...

SMH here .. he said dont reply here directly! LOL

Or am I the only one that reads these threads ;)

I played a 3x3 game of one of the big Antietam scenarios (not the Battle of Antietam) and from what I remembered it was fun. I dont think we finished but the playing we got in was fun.

Enjoy guys ;)

I must be drunk already, I could barely read Joe's writing ROFL Congrats, officers! I have played both Andrew and Dale at one time or another and both good guys. Andrew and I are dueling in Russia at this moment .. well no, the Union army did not go back in time .. ;) Its my Russians vs. his Frenchi...

Bridge repair is pretty straightforward and hazardous in the face of artillery fire. Yes, the Union can definitely rebuild bridges. They just have to do it either when no CSA artillery/infantry is around or at night. Being in column in full sight of the enemy means a lot of losses. Maybe I am wrong ...

I just called a game of Overland (non club game). As a player of many games and scenarios I see that all the CSA has to do is build Trenches at the key crossing points and there is no way that the Union exits the map to get a victory. With only one exit hex in the south its just a matter of delaying...

Yes, John merged the Extreme Fog of War with the Fog of War effect. If Fog of War is enabled then you get the entire package. Being able to see the percentage of a reinforcement group arriving sort of takes the fun out of it but perhaps some would like that option. Reinstating it would be a nice opt...

Col. Justin Kowal and I will meet on one of the battlefields in the Atlanta game. Club game requirement fulfilled and eager to do battle. FYI: I am playing Don Vandergriff (retired member) in an Overland scenario. Really enjoying it. I put the bug in his ear to come back to the club so maybe he will...

Let me know if 032-Cassville May 19 AM Historical works. Its 27 turns. I dont know many people that play with Partial Retreats ON. From the manual: Why isn’t the Partial Retreats Optional Rule a default rule? Retreats from a hex by units that have just lost a melee are necessarily very chaotic event...

Sorry, Christian, I have a healthy respect for guns and those that handle them. Just not funny at all .... When someone is handling a gun always expect that its loaded. Had the gun been loaded she may have pulled the trigger by accident. Typical "dumb guy" stunt. I managed our youth and fa...

I checked with Rich Hamilton today and found out that Campaign Overland did not have a scenario list so I created one this morning. Took me about an hour. As I cannot attach the PDF file to a forum thread I have emailed this file to Scott Ludwig and Ken Miller. I wasn't sure who to contact. Hopefull...

Want to make this older guy happy? Please name the scenario file name to have something that relates to the scenario title. In most of the Napoleonic series games I have helped with I have used a numbering system for both the scenario filename and title. The number is in the scenario title as well a...
