For the rest of the club...improved AI means increased sales (once the word gets out) which will help all of us. So this is a worth cause even if you don't play against the AI.

| As a matter of fact, I just helped another pair of players resolve some PBEM issues at the support account where they were not zipping & starting to zip the files resolved the issue. | Its never been an issue of file size for me, but rather the prevention of file corruption. Never had a corrupted file when zipping, but have had many when not. I believe you have to install the scenario editor off John's site as well, as it includes some supporting files. Been years since I messed with it though...

I've been meaning to grab a copy of it, but haven't found the time yet. I really hope they come out with a scaled down version that is more compatible with business software...Vista is a no go right now.

If we cover nothing but the "popular" wars we do history a disservice. You can count on HPS covering a wide variety of topics - possibly all of armed conflict from recorded history, eventually.
With that said, more ACW is on the way...

When you start the campaign make sure you do not have the "Use expected values" option checked.
