To some degree its the nature of the beast. The number of hours it would require for playtesters to verify balance on so many scenarios is prohibitive. Also some being historical situations are unbalanced by definition. Pickett just isn't going to take the hill. Scenarios that are part of a campaign... |

You also will probably find that the short standalones are designed to reproduce a particular historic situation like Devil Den, Wheatfield or Culps Hill fights. These by there nature are not balanced. The designer may make them balanced by giving VP levels that would make the historic result a draw... |

First, Gen. Mihalik, Gen. Laabs and I have a replay going in the Southern Raiders. Since we are doing it to see if there is any strategy that might win in the historic Gettysburg scenarios we had to post it where Yankee spies can't easily see it. Now to the questions posed: <font color="red">1.How a... |

I think there are a lot of problems with the melee system and some of the fixes would work for "Turn" based play but not "Phased" play and viceversa. From a game design point of view it really doesn't matter whether you have a whole bunch of morale checks and firing or just a single resolution of th... |

I suspect given the size of the club and the probable size of the subset that are interested in role play, that it would be difficult to make role playing a major part of the club. Probably the best way to have role play is in threads that are started for a particular theme like "Fight the War" and ... |

If you right click on My Computer and click on Properties you should see the total memory on the first tab. I also highly recommend you down load the MemTest86 utility from: http://www.memtest.org/ It's free. Make a bootable diskette with it on it. I think the site gives instructions for making it. ... |

I assume that there was a reason for making a hard drive partition using C and D. But here are your options: If D was an accident you can use the Windows Drive Manager to reassign the drive letters making the CD Rom the D drive again. If you have to have the CD assigned to E then there are some util... |

"A bridge must have a strength of at least 1/2 the maximum to carry cavalry units or leaders. (100 points)"
I think Rebel leaders should be able to cross at 1/4, they aren't as fat as Yankee leaders.[:D]

When will we see a patch to Campaign Gettysburg? It is the oldest of the new publishes and has one of the worse bugs in it (fails to carry forward losses from one scenario to the next).
