You are correct that the Blakely's range is exaggerated in the pdt. My references give it a range of 1,760 yards (exactly a mile) at 5 degrees elevation. Another reference says 1850 yards. This is not to say that it could not shoot farther with more elevation (and powder). The game range, therefore,... |

One of my favorite quotes from my real life Union soldier character is "Thank God I am not sick--only wounded." Golf balls with tomato sauce can look a lot like meatballs, Hank. How many did you eat? |

There are provisions in the optional rules to make fires proportional in some situations, so that fire might not be wasted on a remnant stack or unit. Frankly, I don't see a lot of difference in results in those pdts which are half firepower (pdts 2 and 5) Also regarding pdts, pdt 4 might not be inc... |

For Mihalik: The main pdts are 1,2,5 and 9. Pdts 1 and 9 have full firepower, as has been listed in all other titles. Pdts 2 and 5 approximate half firepower. In all the pdts The Napoleon, and to a lesser extent the 12 pdr howitzer should (and do) have a power far greater than the 3" or 10 poun... |

This scenario, in the campaigns, is in the campaign folder. In the campaign folder the scenario is Wild_A3. The difference is In the stand alone scenario you have the Wilderness OOB, but in the campaign you have the 1st Epoch OOB. |

Another thing that I would mention is that I dedicated specific unit pics to the various states represented, as well as dismounted cavqalry and heavy arty and other uniform-specific outfits like the Iron Brigade. Players can get a little bit of intel when an enemy is spotted but not in contact, as t... |

Gents-- if you want to look at data for the other small arms included in the game, I could look at converting a pdt or introducing a new one to incorporate that data. Repeating rifle, breechloader, smoothbores, the Spencer. Have at it and let us know! Spencer carbine is brand new, weapon "z&quo... |

The pdt Overland1 consists of values that have traditionally been in the games--and whosever posterior the numbers came out of, that individual has probably retired by now. Again, in efforts to reduce casualties, at one time I had a pdt with all weapons power cut in half, across the board. There was... |

Gents: I must tell you that you are under a misconception of what the raw numbers in weapons data in the pdt actually represent: They are NOT percentages. They are raw numbers expressing the power of a certain weapon. |

I've got to admit, what you just posted is above my pay grade. I'd be interested to know where in the pdt would you place your values, maybe post an example? I have been trying to figure this stuff out for about four years.. |
