This image of the unit pictures from Battleground Antietam has bugged me since the 1990s. https://static.wixstatic.com/media/7b5c37_988be64025ca490c8dba2af6a3e072a4~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_671,h_528,al_c,q_80,enc_auto/Pipe.jpg Alright.... we all know there is a story here. If you hit "0" on the numerical keys above the QWERTY row then it works.
If you hit "0" on the Calculator Numberpad on the right-hand side of the keyboard it changes formation. |

Good info and research! Looks like the WDS map got it right. Much to my consternation as I attack the Devil's Den. |

You know, you play a game a thousand times and then suddenly something hits you that you never intelligently thought of before. Looking at the old Matrix image of Little Round Top and Devil's Den, you see there are no marshy areas between those two points: https://static.wixstatic.com/media/7b5c37_... |

Ha, that could be so. That map shows a very different situation to that portrayed in the Gottfried map. Where's it from? I'll look into it some more. We'll get a definitive answer somehow. The Longacre book. Ha, I have spent an enjoyable Sunday debating this point with you, sir. Next weekend we mus... |

It's okay to admit when you are wrong, Paul  The evidence pretty much continues to confirm what I am saying. The action with Davies and Jones occurred nowhere near Centreville. https://static.wixstatic.com/media/7b5c37_bce2fe7de3784dc5a788e56e7c7c2679~mv2.png/v1/fill/w_591,h_788,al_c,q_90,... |

The centre of Centreville is only just off Gottfried's map to the north. The point where you see an arrow emanating from 31 NY (pointing to a circled 4) is Hex {127,31} in the Bull Run scenario. Should the CSA enter that hex then Miles Division will be released from their 'Fixed' status. . You are ... |

Welcome back, sir!
The "Big Four" in the Club are definitely Gettysburg, Antietam, Chickamauga, and Shiloh. Beyond those, it all boils down to personal preference. |

I haven't done any research on this topic at all and base the following as, literally, the only evidence I have to present that Miles's Division was much more involved in the battle than they are given credit for by WDS in the historical scenario. If I type in the word "Miles" into my Kind... |

Copied in detail from - Longacre, Edward G.. The Early Morning of War: Bull Run, 1861 (Campaigns and Commanders Series Book 46) (p. 311 - 312). University of Oklahoma Press. Kindle Edition. ------------ Around five o’clock [on the morning of the battle and at Union Mills with Holmes] Ewell had rece... |

I am reading Longacre's book (off and on) about the Battle of First Bull Run. I did a quick Kindle search and Holmes is only mentioned a total of 12 times (excluding end notes) in a 500-something page book. From what I quickly gathered, Holmes was always off on the extreme right guarding the flank a... |

The closest I can think of is the Blair proposal in 1865 to halt the war and unite the country to fight the French in Mexico. Obviously, Lincoln had no interest in this. My history is a bit rusty but that's the general remembrance I have. |

I believe Scenario 047 already does all this and includes action from September 18 - 20. |
