I'll try it, but what game are we using? BTW, I was just at Fort Monroe about one week ago. It is an intersting place. It is the largest STONE fort in the US. OK, looks like a Corinth MOD. Combat Mission (a WWII game) is a WEGO (preplotted) system and works in PBEM games. In this game, you first set your units and then your opponent sets his units, both within the parameters of the scenario. Then you plot your turn, set your units to do all the various things units can do, like fire, ... |

I think you have to look at the other side of the coin. The people that DUG the trenches/set the abattis know EXACTLY where they were placed and some commanders might know ABOUT where others placed tha abattis, but not all commanders would know where ALL the abatis ARE.
