When the issue is fixed in a future update, Rich, will the update overwrite the altered OOB/PDT files to make them correct?

Yes sir, all new files will overwrite existing files.

This error occurred with several games, and is a known issue, getting fixed. But you interim solution is correct. The issue was that the "z" weapon wasn't added to the code. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Hi Rich, Early on, before I found the Club, I used to play the A/I. It was a little bit of a challenge in the beginning but the A/I is predictable and easy to find in vulnerable positions and exploit it. The advantage of the PBEM format is that the human opponent will always be unpredictable and yo...

Hello Rich, Sorry I just now saw this, I play the A/I almost exclusively in all your titles, and I have found in the years of dedicated play there are some improvements the A/I could employ. In all my titles, I have written scenario improvements designed to make the A/I more historically consistent...

I have tried to plug PBEM as often as I can. From my designer notes Campaign Shenandoah: Types of scenarios to play: In Campaign Shenandoah, there are four types of scenarios. First, play with unlimited clear skies, and warm weather. The visibility here is 70 hexes maximum with a constant 72 degrees...

I completely understand if you don't play the AI, after all, this club is about H2H play. But overall, about 80% of all JTS customers play against the AI. So I was wondering have you tried the scenarios that are specifically designed for AI play. These have been named as previously described, and I ...

General Todd, Thanks for trying it, and for the AAR. Also, I noticed that the AI scenarios are not all named AI Challenge for all titles. In hindsight, I wish I had been consistent. C'est la vie! Examples from Petersburg and Shenandoah. As seen below, the Shenandoah AI scenarios will say AI_Play and...

Thanks for the responses I have received so far. I completely understand and I too much prefer PBEM. But to continue.... As mentioned, never use the artillery captured rule vs the AI. The AI will simply spike them and move off. Also make sure the Artillery Defensive Fire dialog is set to min. And I ...

Question concerning JTS ACW games. How many of you play against the A/I? What percentage of you games are against the A/I? What optional rules do you play against the A/I? And what scenario or scenarios have you enjoyed the most when playing the A/I, and why? Thanks to all who respond? Rich Walker J...

I haven't played a game for fun in a while. I want to play the CSA side. Any stand-a-lone scn, and any rules you want. I have time for one game, and I play at least one turn per day. But I won't get upset if a day is missed. Life happens. My email: sejanus007@hotmail.com Reply here that you sent me ...

Gents, Yup the Alternate Fixed unit release is on and yes there is no line of sight with any Yank units for the existing wagons! Thanks for the replies Gents! Well I just guess that goes to prove that you can still teach old guys new tricks, or is that you can learn something new everyday or is it ...

Hey Rich! I am on turn 5 of 098 Heaton's Crossroads and still the remaining 3 Rebel supply wagons are fixed, I would have thought that once the Union player got within 5 hexes they would have been released? This really holds the Rebel in place trying to save those wagons and not to be able to move ...

It does add a new wrinkle to the game.

In fairness, I think Berto covered this in the tavern awhile back, now that I think of it.

Perhaps, but I'm still annoyed that this feature is not fully explained within the game. My fault! Getting old! I will remedy that with the 1st update.

I am playing 3rd Winchester and notice objectives seem to work differently than in the past. I think I figured it out, but is there documentation somewhere? My apologies, I thought this would have been laid out in the "Changes" files. But I should have mentioned it in the notes, and or st...
