I know exactly what you are talking about. I had a 600 reb cav unit semi cornered and it routed and went behind my lines. Now I've got it roaming around in my rears. To make matters worse, i'm playing a very aggressive reb (I think he's Nathan Bedford Forrest reincarnated)and i'm sure he'll use that...

I thought the battle scenes were good. Hollywood does their usual and has to put a love scene of some sort in there. In real life, many of the generals/both presidents lost a child during the war. I think Grant was one of the few who didn't. I thought GaG did a good job of portraying what both sides...

I rewatched Gods and Generals and had forgotten there was supposed to be a 3rd movie, titled "Last Full Measure". Since GAG lost so much money at the box office, they shelved the last movie of the trilogy. Does any one know what it would have been about? I know Grant was never as exciting/dashing as...

Crafty indeed. When I joined the club 2 years ago, he was one of the first rebs I played. Our first (of many) was Champion Hill. I had my arty set up and was hammering his right flank. He had hidden a couple of large cav units and came out of nowhere and captured my arty!! I nicknamed that "getting ...

Thanks Sean, good to know. He's a great opponent and plays almost every day. This absence has to be killing him!! I know I miss playing him.

I joined to play the games. The taverns are great for info, but one can only joke about whipping the rebs enough and it's old talk. My problem is finding any rebs serious to play a campaign. I know everyone is busy (i have 4 kids and work 12 hour shifts, so put that in your busy pipe and smoke it!)....

I bought it last christmas and still haven't played a scenerio yet.
Looking for a serious reb who can make at least 4 moves a week.

General Hulinsky, Looking forward to the engagement sir. Please make sure you have the recently released patch/upgrade, thanks. I'm using a different strategy this year, it should make for a different game. This map is big and every battle is different. See you on the battlefield! Salute! Brig. Gen....

Last year around this time I posted Forrest Fights (066 Shiloh)on the opponent finder. I found 5 rebs who gave me a good fight. One whipped my yankee tail and won the prestigous Forrest trophy. Congrats to Jan Welleman for that feat. I'll give it a 2nd round if any rebs are interested. It's posted o...
