I've been thinking it IS a bug, but I wanted to get some views from the field first. Yes, the pdt controls the parameters--hence the name--and I AM referring to Overland games, which I designed. Things just don't seem to be jiving as they should.

What are some tips for lowering fatigue? I am currently experiencing units holding high fatigue levels for long periods of time

I'm betting the graphics used in each scenario is still specified when each individual scenario is built. Not a Rev War guy, but pretty sure it would be basically the same as ACW.

Also, FYI, weather in Overland is based in the book on Civil War weather in Virginia, listed in Overland's bibliography. Although I'm not aware of books on weather in other locales, there are enough original source weather reports in diaries and such, that the actual weather could be incorporated in...

As I understand it, if you post your AAR in Pinkerton's Tent, your Confederate opponents would not have access to it.

There is no indication that the weather section of the pdt has anything at all to do with displaying alternate terrain. In addition to Ken Miller's info, you can see what the pdt data controls in the "demo Overland" pdt that I included with the game. It is for info only. Don't try to incor...

Overland also has an annotated pdt which tells you what the numbers mean. It is easy to bring it up on your screen alongside the pdt you want to work on. It is "demo Overloand3.pdt"

Disk mod on somebody else's game is above my pay grade. You should ask HPS support.

It is very easy for players themselves to change any movement factor in a game, as well as many other parameters, by going into the pdt and making the adjustment. Just make sure that your opponent(s) have the same version of the pdt when you play.

Talk about infallible observations, one of my favorite WWII anecdotes is from Italy, where a forward observe supposedly reported there were three battalions coming down the road. Four artillery battalions laid a TOT on the road, only to find out the FO actually said there were three ITALIANS coming ...

Just so you know, I am not a programmer either. As a designer, I make suggestions, and they are all vetted before being turned down. The 70 hex view is easily adjusted in the pdt. That's five miles! It is pretty rare that you get a glimpse of something that far away, because of all the things blocki...

'Scuse me for seeming to make light of the suggestion, but I chuckled when I thought of this (COL???) so I thought I'd send it on. Man in theater says, "Do you know there really is an oldest trick in the book?" General says, "Looketh over there!" The entire regiment about faces t...

There are plenty of AARs and screenshots, especially in Pinkerton's Tent. Would like to see more.

Not sure I'm buying it, gents. It is only on this particular 'puter, and the problem is they're not really shaded at all to the extent it is hard to tell.

Does anybody know if there is any way to adjust the shading when you turn on the visible hexes in "View"?
