I made the transition from Matrix (Talonsoft) to HPS mainly because of the weather feature and I do prefer weather scenarios over non-weather. IMO the introduction of some type of variable visibility in these scenarios is a major step toward a more realistic fog of war and reduces the borg-spotting ...

The night fatigue did much to fix the problem but many scenarios don't have a value set or use low faitgues like 50... OT: It would be so easy to update the older pdt files for night fatigue and weather, etc. when they update each module with a new patch - i can't imagine why it isn't done. Sorry f...

I remember being surprised when hearing in Ken Burn's documentary that upon the Confederacy's surrender at the Appomattox courthouse Lincoln asked a band in Washington D.C. to play "Dixie," adding, "I have always thought 'Dixie' to be one of the best tunes I've ever heard."

Guys, remember...
IF YOU PLAY PBEM or MP ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE THE WEATHER MOD INSTALLED!!

Otherwise you could have reduced visibility while your opponent can see the full 70 hexes!

There are indeed no stock weather scenarios for Gettysburg. I did a weather mod on every single scenario and campaign for the Old banshee team and it can be picked up at their site. From the readme file: This Mod creates a more realistic daily weather pattern based on Ken Miller's gradual dawn/dusk ...

Yes, if your pdt files are different. My experience is that this could only happen if one of you has edited or modded their weather data or renamed their pdt file. I did this as a newbie and played my first several games with rainy muddy weather while my opponents had bright sunny days. Personally I...

The officers and Commander of the 2nd Division 6th Corps AotS have been unable to contact Mike Cox as well. We were in an MP tourney and we just had to move ahead without him.

Both sides have v1.05 installed and Andy sent me his bto and btc files.

I have a feeling that you each need your own unique bto and btc files created from the start. You cant use his and vice versa.

We also have the Unit Viewer program that was developed to help the team sort this stuff out. We could provide this too (with readme file) if there is a demand. The program loads any OOB and allows you to pick through and view the corresponding unit graphics and the oob itself. Here's a sample: http...

Would you guys be interested in the map and unit graphic mods that we have for these releases? We did it for Gettysburg but we have them for most of the other titles. Here is Ozark (Wilson's Creek):

Make sure you put the .bmp files in the "info" folder. The rest (.oob) files go in the root folder for the game. Nothing should go in the "map" folder for this particular mod.

Does the readme really say put them in the maps folder for the Chickamauga updates?
