I guess things have changed. Back in the old days you couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting a Confederate officer complaining about the lack of Union opponents and now it's easier to shove a wet noodle up a bobcat's ass in a phone booth then getting a Confederate officer to answer a challenge. I agree. No matter how much booty Lee took out of Pennsylvania and Western Maryland it couldn't make up for the loss of so many of the veterans of the ANV. |

I think both sides were able to build bridges across creeks pretty quickly so that it really wouldnt be necessary. |
