I'm near novice but if you need a Yankee and will have me, I'll be a part of any MP game.

Gen. Hebert sir: {salute} Thank you for your advice. It is greatly appreciated. I was unaware I could request a command. You are among the first rank of those who make this Club the special place it is. I also know I can take you at your word. If needed you would do your best to assist any member. T... |

Gentlemen: For what it’s worth, I'd like to enter this discussion. I agree with General Blake regarding voting for respective CoA. I am of the opinion that any ACWGC member in good standing should be eligible to vote in the election of the CoA for their own Army. The more participatory our Club Gove... |

Thanks for the info Blake. As you know Murfreesboro (I may be a Yankee officer now, but I was a Confederate kid) is my favorite battle. I just love my 38th Tennessee Infantry! I was in college before I ever heard of the Battle of Stones River! LOL I very much enjoyed "No Better Place To Die&quo... |

General McOmish sir {salute} I would like to more seriously suggest for your consideration the "Frank Armstrong Tournament". 8) Francis C. (Frank) Armstrong holds the distinction of being both a Union and a Confederate Officer (but not at the same time LOL  ). http://crossedsabers.bl... |

General Miller sir:{salute} I can understand your point, and absolutely respect you for it; but I prefer cornbread in my buttermilk. Of course I'm a nubie Field Grade Nobody, but wouldn't it be great to have all that arty to play with? Not to mention shoes. Other suggestions might be... |

General McOmish sir: {salute} I would also love to take part but I'm not sure I'd be allowed. Anyway, I'm not really crazy about the name of your proposed tournament, so I would respectfully request you consider something along the line of "The Coat Turning Tournament" or "Abov... |

Hi Robert {salute} I'm in Baton Rouge. If you ever want a battle or two here in LA, let me know. I guess you have been to Forts Randolph and Buhlow and Bailey's Dam; but do you ever get up to Mansfield? Anyway, I saw you live in Pineville so I wanted to say hello. Deano Col. Martin {salute} |

I just found one while reading "The Longest Night".
"Fill your canteens boys! Some of you will be in hell before night and you'll need water". Colonel Isaac C. Pugh, 41st Illinois Infantry at Shiloh
Doesn't hearing that just give you a good feeling inside?

Scott,
I'll be thinking about and praying for you. Believe me, I know what you're about to go through. Well, without the snow.
Best of luck. Come back here and let us know when you get power back on.
Best Wishes and Regards,
Deano |
