Are you saying, Steve, that AI play is a necessary asset to the sale of these games?

Basically that is the gist of what the feedback to the company has been for a long time now, although I don't know how WDS will approach things -I am speaking more generally across the range of series'.

Fwiw, that actually is the reason it is a major concern.

Yes it is a pity. Rich, I know nothing about coding so will ask you if changing the snapshot "code" in the NAP series to perform as it does in the ACW series would be a big deal? Well Walt, look on the bright side - this is now going to become an engine change request for at least one ser...

Hi everyone Rich Hamilton came through with the answer. Big campaign maps that can be written on can be produced using the snapshot feature. Here's what he says and it works! "I had totally forgotten the "Snapshot" feature. Go into Gettysburg and open up a scenario. Then go to the Fi...

When constructing the screenshot I find it useful to turn off auto-scrolling, and moving the cursor the very edge of the image you have visible at the time. I am a heavy user of opacity to make things align correctly, and rarely turn off the hexes (it helps with alignment not to mention if you are w...

Since I won't have time to sort these for awhile - the only real alternative is to put of a zip file of the lot. It is about 1.3 gb.

This is not the site for downloads like Stephenson's Depot, Climax, and Struggle for Control. I believe these were Rich Hamilton's games.

David is correct, what I had on SDC was/is basically the material that Rich Hamilton had uploaded at Gamesquad.

The site's host had a server change that basically meant everything got lost. While I still have everything that was on the site, I have not had time to recreate the download area again. The site isn't dead at all, but the download area took a big hit. It won't be in the same format, mainly because ...

Tackling the problem as posted ... 1st off - this is clearly an OOB issue - the question is, which OOB is it? If it was one that was user created then it is not something that the company would support. I imagine this one probably is one -but if you could list which one that it is? Probably PM John ...

*depends* Yes, you can - however you have to change the file names from 25 and 50 to 50 and 100 - you cannot leave the 50 alone -because the 50 in Petersburg (at the moment) is the 100 in the other titles. At the moment being the operative phrase. Petersburg uses 3 native 2d resolutions as opposed t...

Hey Cam,

Try these guys: http://www.acwrta.com/contact/ I imagine your email might be the same one as listed there - but if all else fails, drop a line to him through the Round Table maybe? They would know him in person.

Hey John, I loved being assigned a part of your group. It was a privilege really, and it probably kept me around longer than probably otherwise. I know how much work would have been put in on an admin level, and it was never something that I had the time for -so it made your own contribution that mu...

Disclaimer: am designing scenarios for a similarly scaled series. My take is -that it is about what you would know as a commander on the battle as a whole, and as a commander as a battle as a whole, in my opinion there is no way that in the larger battles that you would have any idea about the suppl...

Hey Nick: Technically you can apply the JTS update, but when you go to start your program the next time after applying the update, then it would ask you for a serial number. You'd be able to apply it, it just would stop you from using your program until what point that you would be able to put in a ...

I think that you got it Dukemat. I've run into that same thing before. That being said I would be surprised if the stock graphics don't eventually change in the series anyway but I will just leave that out there. It isn't something that I am going to be working on (I got other things they have me do...
