Modified version of Gettysburg 007. See details at MDT under "Two New Scenarios" or at Scenario Design. Singly or as an Army challenge. Hope I don't need to find Yanks to masquerade as Rebels. |

Installed Windows 10 on my laptop. Made image copies of my Gettysburg (2.0) and Chickamauga (not 2.0) folders from my desktop and copied them to my laptop. Started a couple of scenarios -- both of my own design -- under each. Seems to be no problem whatsoever. The directory structure is similar -- i... |

Actually these are extensions of existing ones, Gettysburg(007) and Chickamauga(042). Both scenarios have :30 day turns and the duration of each has been extended by one day. Will the South win its independence on July 4th? Will Bragg actually be moved to take Chattanooga? Both scenarios follow the ... |

Reading my previous post, I worded it rather poorly. The best method for incorporating new PDT values is to copy the existing SCN and edit it to point to the new PDT which one has created. This avoids the problem of modifying whatever passes as the "standard" PDT in a specific scenario. If... |

As John has alluded to in his previous post, the PDT has its limitations relative to the base game engine. While one can construct a different movement system or a standard Weapons Effectiveness -- never understood why weapon types should differ from one scenario to the next --, a standard PDT for u... |

While artificial to be sure, limits can be put on night movement. It requires PDT changes though. In a couple of scenarios I am developing, I have increased the movement penalty and am using the "Weather Option" to slow down night movement. This option has a parameter which one can use to ... |

Oh, what the hell, I'll contribute to the Wish List. There is a definite problem with fatigue calculation in Turn-based play, and it is more than cosmetic. I have seen artillery casualties accrue 7 or 8 times the actual number of hits, when the documentation states "up to 3 times". When on... |

Ernie,
I, likewise, would be interested in receiving a copy. Can not participate in play at the moment, however. Working on some scenarios myself.

For those members familiar with the Binny's slogan: "If you can't find it at Binny's, it's probably not worth drinking!", we probably won't find this at Binny's. |

What is being discussed can only be done by using the Weather option. I tried modifying the maximum visibility of day turns by "extending" dawn turns to cover the entire period until dusk. This produced problems in the game engine. John Ferry is correct that dawn and dusk are hard-wired. I... |
