As a long time member of the AoG(VMI Graduation 2001), and someone who has held numerous Division & Corps commands within it, I shall be sorry to see the 'old girl' go but times change and we must change with them. With that it seems that Option C would be the best choice.

Gentlemen,

Having been away on an extended leave of absence, I am honored that the distinguished General Cameron McOmish has asked for my views on this important topic.

With the majority, I am for option C.

Time is for many of us our most precious resource; to be expended judiciously.

While bringing people together from across the globe to play these wonderful games is the primary focus of ACWGC, the fun added by roleplaying within the command structures, as well as the competition fostered between the two great armies, has been a mainstay of this club.

I salute you members who have volunteered so much of your time to making ACWGC a fun and lasting challenge.

Your humble servant,

Gentlemen,

I too would like to devote more time to the admin side of the club, but real life issues make that difficult if not realistically impossible. I want to offer my heartfelt thanks to Cam and all those that are able and do volunteer their precious time to making the club work from an admin standpoint. I learned long ago in volunteer situations, never criticize people that volunteer their time unless you are able and WILLING to do the work yourself. I therefore pledge my support to whatever option those now in charge and are doing the work feel is the best way forward.

Gentlemen greetings.
I have read through all your posts and concur that option C is the way forward with the numbers diminishing as they are.
I have always been a strong believer in being called to muster once a month in order to maintain a sense of communication with those who Command, under the present circumstances I sometimes wonder if I belong to the club or not?
It will be sad to see the dossiers disappear, perhaps we could all be responsible for maintaining our own dossiers?
Just some thoughts.

I believe Option C is the most viable of the choices.

It look like the Cs have it, and I concur. I like the idea of naming the divisions by their more historical names as proposed by Gen Moore, but I know the AoT went through division names pretty quickly with commanders being killed, wounded, promoted etc. The idea has some play though. AoT was the Principal CSA army in the west for a considerable time in the CW. Personally I never got the names of AoA or AoG as I had never read about them anywhere. The monthly mustering system works for me.
Also, I am very thankful for all the work put in by our commanders. Thank you for your work men.
