Mustering for January.
Our AotM team appears to be soundly trouncing the yankee in the GATOR ADVANCE Gettysburg scenario team game.
Too early to tell, but our Gray Avengers AotM team is doing well versus a veteran yankee team in the GATOR REVENGE Antietam scenario tem game
.

Lieutenant Colonel Haines <salute>

Suh, my compliments!

I've followed "Gator Advance" since it started, and you gentlemen have done a wonderful job in the encounter. I anticipate a Major Victory as the Yanks are now paying the piper for their actions.

I find that the "Gray Avengers" are comprised of members of the Army of the Mississippi, however none are part of 2nd "Gator Alley" Division. Yet you have designated one of their MP battles as "Gator Revenge"? I'm curious how this came about.

The following "Gator" engagements are currently recognized:
Gator Ambush - 3 of 5 CSA officers members of Gator Alley
Gator Pike - All CSA officers members of Gator Alley
Gator Woods - All CSA officers members of Gator Alley
Gator Bloom - All CSA officers members of Gator Alley
Gator Scrap - All CSA officers members of Gator Alley
Gator Oats - All CSA officers members of Gator Alley
Gator Klebbe - All CSA officers members of Gator Alley
Gator Clash - All CSA officers members of Gator Alley
Elite Gator - All CSA officers members of Gator Alley
Gator Chat - All CSA officers members of Gator Alley
Equal Gator - All CSA officers members of Gator Alley
Gator Vortex - All CSA officers members of Gator Alley
Gator Advance - Authorized by the Commander, Gator Alley, due to commander being a member of Gator Alley, along with 1 team member
Gator Vengeance - All CSA officers members of Gator Alley

Gator Revenge - no officers are members of Gator Alley?

"Gator" titles are allotted to battles involving members of "Gator Alley", and I must object to it being used by officers not associated with Gator Alley or not having been authorized to do so by the commander, Major General Tim Reneau.

I applaud the efforts of the "Gray Avengers" to form a MP alliance and certainly wish you well in your endeavors. I would suggest "Gray Revenge" as a more suitable title, with "Gray" to appear in subsequent engagements to more easily identify your alliance and its achievements.

Highest regards,

Neal, I believe that the name of the team game the Gray Avengers are playing may be derived from our long standing Florida connection, or perhaps just because of a random word selection. I had no previous knowledge of the term Gator Alley other than seeing the words in some of your forum postings. I have pledged to never again become involved in any Club's politics or controversies so I shall have no further comment to make about your concern. If you wish to pursue the matter please contact Joe Medeiros or Sascha Marx. Beyond that I can only assure you that no offense was intended toward your Gator project.

Suh, my compliments!

I thank you for your prompt response and explanation of how the title came about. I will accept it as presented and certainly meant no offense to you or the "Gray Avengers" when I stated my objection. I sincerely applaud your efforts to form a MP alliance and wish you gentlemen the best in your endeavors; we do all serve the cause despite the challenges faced. The matter is now forgotten.

I do stand by my previous suggestion: incorportate "Gray" into your battle titles as a matter of pride in your alliance and to establish a base of MP battles conducted, or if that seems too common use "Avenger". Perhaps "Avenger Revenge" if not "Gray Revenge".

Gator Alley needs to hire a better advertising firm if after 3 years there are still areas we're not known

Highest regards,

Thought I'd already mustered! Too much celebration over Christmas maybe? Five battles/campaigns and one manouevre on the go.
