Congratulations on your recognition, both of which are truly deserved! It's an honor to have both served under your command when you commanded the mighty Army of the Mississippi and now as a brigade commander in II Corps. The destruction of the Army of the Shenandoah in their "Fall Offensive" was the master stroke!
