The Army Commander will take responsibility for III Corps until such time as suitable commanders are identified.
A number of officers from the old organization structure are not present because they have chosen to go on Leave of Absence or they have been Hospitalized. An officer is hospitalized if they fail to muster for six months in a row and do not respond to appeals to amend their status. Hospitalized officers may rejoin the Army of Alabama and be assigned a new brigade upon application to the Army Commander. Officers who have been hospitalized have six months to rejoin the army or they will be discharged. Any officer at any time may go on Leave of Absence or Retirement.
A new webpage for the Army of Alabama is in the works.
Three cheers for the Army of Alabama!
<salute!>
