To All Who Would Frequent The Watering Hole, Take Note!!!

The officers of the fine Army of the Mississippi have been invited to partake of our hospitality.
Claude has swiped down the bar, dusted off the glasses and even emptied the spit-tune.
Please treat our guest as you would treat a fellow Alabamian. On second thought, please treat
them well.

The invitation was extended to that fine army because of their generosity in allowing LG Tom Phillips
to join our fine army. As such, Claude, the first two rounds are on General Phillips and then unlock the
chest containing General McOmish's sour mash whiskey. He has not been here in a while and it may go bad.

Gentlemen, raise your glasses high to honor the men of Mississippi !!!

Lt General Hovey,
Al,

I am so glad that you have properly briefed Claude because those boys from the Army of the Mississippi are of a different breed. Have arrangements been made to keep that darn gator outside?

And does Claude fully understand that when an AotM Officer asks for access to General McOmish's chest... that he is to exclaim that the darn key has gone MISSING and it may take a few moments before it can be found again?

Major General Dancer,
Terry,

Is it called that because once you've imbibed in some of that moonshine... you will need to make a windage adjustment to get your sights back on target?

All is in readiness for our visitors! A large pen has bee constructed of sound materials for the beloved "gater". Someone even threw an old chicken in there. Now if the boys from Mississippi will build up enough courage to walk through the door, we may begin the celebration.

General Hulinsky <Salute>, I have the key to Cam's chest. Claude seemed to be in such good "spirits" lately, I thought it best to preserve the medicinal beverage contained therein. Upon the arrival of General McOmish, I shall relinquish the key to him.

General Hulinsky <salute>

That darn gator? Nicodemus was awarded the rank of temporary acting brevet command sergeant major by General McOmish, which to my knowledge hasn't been recinded. It would be unsightly to place a noncommissioned officer in confinement without charges, particularly one as dedicated and renowned as Nicodemus!

Nicodemus' first real action even came under your command, as I recall. It was a MP action with myself in command of II Corps and ordered to proceed to occupy Gettysburg, and none other than Nicodemus was at the head of the column making "chomp, chomp" sounds as I remember. That we ended up facing the Yankee forces alone due to late reinforcements was certainly not our fault.

I soon after assumed division command, "Gator Alley". "Gator Alley" has survived even as I moved to corps and now army command. The following "Gator" MP actions have followed:

Gator Ambush - Draw
Gator Pike - Major Victory
Gator Woods - Major Victory
Gator Chat - Minor Victory
Gator Oats - Major Defeat
Gator Klebbe - Major Victory
Elite Gator - Major Victory
Gator Scrap - Major Victory
Gator Clash - Major Defeat
Gator Advance - Major Victory
Gator Vortex - Major Victory
Dixieland Gator - Major Victory
Equal Gator - Minor Defeat
Gator Stones - Currently Draw
Gator Vengeance - Currently Major Victory

We've taken a couple of lumps, however the only people who might want Nicodemus caged should be the Yanks

Highest regards,

I have arrived and I shall take charge of my chest, although with the amount of beer I have drunk it would seem someone else has taken charge of my legs
