Officers and Gentlemen of the fine Army of Tennessee please join me in welcoming to our ranks Field Lieutenant Josh Jansen. He is now the OC of the 2nd Cavalry Brigade, of the 2nd Cavalry Division, Forrest's Corps (3rd). I have put the usual $50 in gold on the bar, so let drink like we mean it and push on through, can't have Josh thinking he is in the ANV Dump of Trees Tavern. :mrgreen:

Happy to have been put in the service of such great company. I will work tirelessly to bring this brigade up to snuff and give these Yanks a scare!

However, being as you gents have so kindly forwarded this cash lot in my honor, I will remove my hat and partake in this day of celebration. I want the houses best whiskey, neat, and somebody needs to start playing some tunes on that there piano! This ain’t a funeral gents. Bring on the good times!
