Oh, no this is the photo of the three remaining US Brigade Commanders discussing how they may also avoid calamity and be escorted from the field as the horrendous casualties in their mounted troops has left just one available horse for them to plot their escape.

Must be the same ones your wearing, General: them rose-colored ones.
Well...I'd say more but...it would probably just be a..."lost cause". :D  :D

Well...if your boys are feeling frogy, General, dispatch them to the second brigades position in Franklin. :D
We have plenty of '58 caliber, spherical case, solid, and canister shot for you...and we hope you have a good appetite for it! Hungry, fella?

I'm rather busy at the moment dealing with two brigades on the other side of the river so am unable to venture into town just now. You, of course, are most welcome to cross the river and join us.

I'm a little preoccupied in a shin dig with General Kunz and his wretched Georgians at the moment as well but...Suh...do not EVER threaten me with a good time.

As you shall soon see when you receive the latest dispatch, General Kunz (as I mentioned as likely in an earlier post) has now had his fill in the town and sauntered off from there. Indeed he is not far from me and we can see your men lollygagging across the river in the town which, as you informed us earlier, you indecently shelled.
I shall pass on your compliments to General Kunz although I shall refrain from mentioning your derogatory description of his fine Georgians lest it rile him.

Gent's

I am enjoying this "bantering" AAR. It would be even further enhanced if you all posted some screenshots of the battlefield where these events are transpiring!

Regrettably I am unable to post screenshots to any of the ACWGC forums.

Is this a technical issue on your end or ours?

To post images on ACWGC forums the file has to be on an internet server, it can't be posted directly from your own computer. When selecting an avatar (such as the Eureka flag I use as mine) you can select an image from your own computer and that works but the forum images must have an internet url address.

I believe that is incorrect Paul (you can do this via upload attachment).

I can upload images from my computer and then embed them in a post, as I have done here:

General Dortch,

As the overall commander of the CSA side in this multi-player battle, I would be happy to share screen shots from the Union point of view if I had access to them. I regret to inform you, however, that many of the Yank units are hiding in the town and behind trees. :(

Of course, I would also be happy to share screen shots from OUR point of view, but you know how rascally those Yanks can be. I have no doubt they would take a peek, and discover where our wounded were recuperating.

Perhaps after the battle is concluded, both sides will be able to share this information. :D

Well you saw through my flimsy subterfuge but yes, posting it up afterwards, is what most, but not all AAR's are all about!

Thank-you President Dortch. If I've done it correctly a situation map should appear below:

Attachments:
File comment: 1. The brave Confederates
2. Yankees
3. Yankees cowering behind civilian homes
4. Fire started by Col. Campbell firing at Female Dance Academy.
