Colonial Campaigns Club (CCC)

Hi all,

I wanted to post about one of our sister Clubs, in case anyone is interested.

I would like to take a moment to talk about the Colonial Campaigns Club (CCC). Yes we are still around and looking better than ever.

We play HPS Simulations/John Tiller Software games, including Campaign 1776, War of 1812, French and Indian War and Mexican American War.

We also play AGEOD's Birth of America, Birth of America 2: Wars in America and Rise of Prussia.

We currently have been enjoying a new surge in membership and have a fair amount of activity going. We also have a Tournament underway currently too and have continuously had different Tournaments going for a few years now.

We are setup just like here and the NWC. The major armies we have are the:

Continental American Army featuring various units of the wars, many comprised of individual states and also famous units such as Pulaski's Legion, Lee's Legion, units from Lexington & Concord to name a few.

British Armies in America featuring British, Scottish, Hessian (German), Canadian, Loyalist, and Royal Marines & Royal Artillery.

Indian Alliance featuring various tribes of North America.

French Army (l'Armée de Terre Royale) featuring various units of the wars.

Those who have not stopped by in a while will notice we have changed a lot both in looks and how we operate. We also have new ideas we are working on all the time. One idea we are exploring is ways to use video capture software to highlight game play. Another is inviting artists of the period to interact with our members on our forum or via an interview to be published for the members to read. We have a lot more ideas too. Not only do we enjoy the games, but also we explore the history of the periods we play too.

We are a fun, low key, gamer focused Club, so feel free to stop by: http://www.wargame.ch/1776/index.html

If you're interested in joining, fill out the Joining Form: http://wargame.ch/1776/join_club/form.php

Training is Optional for those who are comfortable with the games.

Any questions or comments please feel free to email me at eric2900@aol.com

Thanks everyone! Happy Gaming!

I will have an extra copy of only one game from the series this weekend probably. Email me if you are interested in it: eric2900@aol.com. You have to be able to do digital downloads, as that is how it comes.
