Recent Confederate States of America (CSA) General Officer Promotions

Officers of the Confederate States of America (CSA) Armies & Fellow Club Members,

On behalf of the Club Cabinet, myself & the CSA Command Staff the following officer has met the requirements for promotion in the General Officer Ranks:

It is an honour for the band and I to play some fine southern tunes to celebrate the promotion's of these most excellent examples of Southern Manhood and Gentlemanliness. It will be a 50 50 set, the boys and I will play a tune and then drink, then play a tune and then drink - you get the picture, we wont as we will be blind drunk by the 10th set.

I think I've made a mistake.
When I saw the heading CSA Officer Promotions, I thought the Club was running a special, like get two coupons when you sign up to be a CSA Officer or trick one of your friends into being a CSA Officer and you get a discount on all "fixins' and poultices and corn squeezins' or something. I know it's been hard to find a reb to fight these days so it all made sense.

But I see that this is something else, though it pays to shop around so you know...

so our "CAUSE" can only expect great things from ya'll
Officers of the South join me in a toast to these fine Gentlemen....
As the Fine GENERAL stated I have several fine SC Hogs in the pit and some home-made Carolina mustard based and vinegar based sauces in the pots.

Ya'll know no matter how hard you try its nearly impossible to keep a gnat or mosquito out of your summer parties....these pests find a way to get in.....so my Southern Brethren please excuse me from the festivities as I swat this blue belly gnat so it will stop pestering us....
