Lt Matthews,
Bill,

Sir, I see that this post originated on August 14th... why that's over two weeks ago. Are you bored with the Union Army yet? Have you retraced your steps in your mind... and did you discover that you accidentally enlisted in the wrong Army?

Yes, Sir... I know how it goes. It sometimes happens to the best of us (or the worst of us as in Ned Simms case)... there has been an awful lot of confusion with regards to who is who and what is what.

Why I've seen blue uniforms on both sides of the battlefield... and it isn't always because the Yanks are confused and came out of the wrong woodline in the wrong place! (That is unless Rusty Hodgkiss or Drex Ringbloom are in charge... then you can pretty much expect mass confusion but that's alright... they are both stand up Officer's and have probably done as much damage to the Union as say... the Army of Georgia!) [;)]

Anyway, it's not too late to change your mind. If you need help finding the Confederate Recruiter... send a dispatch to me at husker6101@yahoo.com and I'll make arrangements to build a bonfire in front of the Union lines and I'll send some of my fine cavalry officer's to pick you up and get you to the right place.

Warmest Regards,

General Roger Hulinsky
Cmdg, Cavalry
IV Corps, AotM

PS - Pat... nice little comment about the making of new flags, Sir! Original... highly original! HeHeHe! <salute>
