Officer's of the AotM,

There seems to have been a flurry of CSA Awards coming out of General Willie Tisdale's Headquarters today... which is a common event at the end of the year. I know that it's his intention to recognize the efforts of the many fine Officer's who contribute so much to our fine Club. I believe that there were over 10 such Awards made today throughout the Confederacy but I would go crazy in just trying to post a few of them. So I extend my congratulations to all of them in blanket fashion.

But we did have one particular Officer in the AotM who was recognized and I would not be doing my job as the Army Cmdr if I failed to recognize his Awards in some fashion. So if you would... please join me in congratulating Colonel Neal Hebert for his receipt of the following Awards!

Sir, my compliments! Thank you for recognizing my good fortune, and I'll simply state that I will continue to do my duty to the best of my abilities.

I can see Nicodemus is already bellying up to the bar, so in honor of General McOmish I will stand for a round of drinks, following which I will stand for another and propose a toast.

Officers of the Army of the Mississippi, a toast to the new year which is practically upon us. May it bring glory to the Army of the Mississippi, the Western Theatre, and the Confederate States Army!
