Just as during all of the practices out on the "grinder", the troops of the brigade moved in fluid harmony. The troops and officers could sense the importance of the occasion, the ability to thank their former Chief of the Armies for all of his work over the years.

The order is barked out, "Eyes Right", and as if it was a single organism, the heads of the right most column swiveled as one.

"Officers, hand salute" The officers swords glitter in the sun as they are brought up, as one, to the salute position.

The salute is carried until the last of the brigade moves past the reviewing stand.

Thank you sir, for all of your hard work and support. <salute>

Lt Col Jack Waldron
UA/AoS/XIX Corps/1st Div/2nd Bde

"My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom." William T Sherman

General Laub, SIR! <SALUTE> Cumberland Sabres!! - EYES RIGHT

With sincere appreciation for all of your contributions over the years, and for your conscientious leadership. Whatever your plans are for the future, please accept the Sabres best wishes and stop by the AoC's Woodin' Injun when the mood strikes. Perhaps we can talk you into a good multi-player battle. We can always use an experienced Reb wrangler.

Sincerely,

Major General
Tom Ciampa
