I've compiled together a mod from other's work and added some terrain textures, and resized the cannon and wagons for the Corinth Campaign which is the only HPS game I currently own.

Question: will these mods easily transfer to the other HPS CW games?

Yes, a matter of taste I suppose. I can't bear to play with the stock graphics though. I'm also color-blind so it may be that I'm missing something that makes it look grainy to others.[:D]

Anyway, I plan to purchase another module soon, and I'm guessing that these Corinth Mods will require some but not much manipulation to work with the OOB's of other modules.

cheers,

Its is interesting but I can't see the Rebs that well. They blend in with the forest too much. I do like what you did though.

You place the image on a website, then reference it in the message, and add "Image".

Do that without QUOTES.

The unit 3D files vary from game to game a bit. If you check the listing for Rolf Halls files at Brett's site this will give you a good idea of which games use common files.

http://www.brettschulte.net/ACWCGDC/rol ... aphics.htm

From that page and my own research I believe Ozark and Corinth use the same 3D files, Shiloh, Atlanta, Chick and Antietam have common 3D files as do Franklin and Gettysburg. You can check the others by opening the 3Dunits A, B and C files in the Map folder and comparing them. If they match you will be okay to use your modified file in those games.

Have to warn you though that the OOB files are not common and occasionally one designer will use a 3D icon for the rebs and another will use it for the yanks.

Units are fine although I agree that the Reb unit is a bit hard to see.
Roads and Trail and fences ok as well.
Not sure bout trees but that was always the hardest part to mod and get right. I played two campaign games of Corinth when the game came out using stock graphics and it put me off 3D for years.....

You have to have an online host for your images - I use imageshack - it's free. Then I copy the URL from imagshack and use it in my post with the "insert image" button in the format line.
