I am absolutely thrilled to be a member of this club. I don't know how else to say it.

I am thrilled to have met so many fine competitors and officers on both sides of what I regard as a very distinct and unique organization. I want to thank all of those original club members that put this thing together back in the late 1990's long before I joined. I want to thank everyone that's ever passed through and left the club a little bit better than what they found it. I have absolutely no compunctions in stating that one of my biggest thrills of each day is receiving an gameturn E-mail from one of my opponents!

I am thankful of everyone who wears the blue of my own side and for those that wear the gray of the other side! I cannot imagine a more expressive, responsive and animated group of people than all of you! Some of my most peaceful and satisfied personal moments have been spent in contemplating my next move in the middle of a battle or campaign before I have received back my opponent's move!

I look forward to reading your comments in all of the forums, and there isn't a day that goes by in which I don't check in and see what's happening around the club. It's like reading the newspaper for me. If I don't get that opportunity in any given day, I feel cheated and deprived!

I am not ashamed to say that I am totally and irrevocably hooked upon this club and the people in it! I feel fortunate in being able to have the necessary communication abilities to allow my own membership. If ever they should be denied to me or I become too disabled to continue their use, I know that I would be devastated!

It is simply my fortunate and honored privilege to be associated with the ACWGC and the many fine and diversified officers who maintain their own membership. Thank you for who you are, what you have created and for offering to me such a priceless experience!

Absolutely fantastic!

A very good post Joe <salute>. The only real disavantage for me being this club is that I do not have the travel budget to be able to go to the US to meet members of the Club - it would be great to be able to put names to faces. Looks like I will have to save hard for the next Tiller Con :mrgreen:

Joe,

Well said, this is a collection of some of the finest folks from around the world, a band of brothers like no other.

<salute>

Don’t know what you’ve been doing lately but I’ve been waiting on a turn from you for almost a week.

Cam,

Next year is “Tiller Tasmania”....maybe I’ll see you there!
:shock: :wink:
