American Civil War Game Club (ACWGC)

I'm trying to complete the colourised Leader pictures for the Ozark release. I'm struggling to find a copy of a print that HPS used for their original Leader Bitmap.

He appears in Ozark as Union Colonel George Hall ...but I'm certain he's a "ringer" using the photo of another, quite possibly well known, officer as a substitute.

Anyone recognise who it is and able to put a name to him:


I've been all through Generals & Brevets, Fortune city ACW Leaders and the Burgerskrieg site to try and find him ...but I'm damned if I can.

I'm becoming quite the Bloodhound when it comes to pinning down the names & faces of these guys:

Probably best known for his association with the Fetterman massacre.

i looked through Wiki's List of Union and Confederate generals that provides thumbnail photos of most generals but the closest I could get was Frederick Steel but Wiki's photo shows a more forehead. Its a front-on shot instead of a profile. But it looks close.
