General Garner; In the spirit of chivalry and due respect to honor, I, Gen. Ringbloom, do challenge you and your organized rabble to a battle royal, mano e mano, based on rules discussed earlier. What's more, although the AotM is little more than militia -without shoes, I might add- we do not think it fair to leave your mob sitting on the sidelines while we fight real armies.
For the formalities:( Gen. Ringbloom dismounts and walks over to the seated Gen.Garner at his card table (oak barrel), removes his impecable white gloves, and deftly slaps Gen. Garner twice across each cheek, "slap","slap". What say you Sirrah? Do you accept my challenge or go on playing cards?
-Lt.Gen. Drex Ringbloom, AotS,Commanding

Oh, now that's a manly challenge. Probably the same type of "impecable white gloves" my sisters wore at their first communions, and what man "deftly" slaps anyone? Did you ride in side-saddle?

Too bad it's not basketball season; a three-pointer

Gentlemen: It was supposed to be funny. And there is nothing feminine about being deft at something: quick, skillful, adroit. Evidently these are qualities with which the AotM is unfamiliar. In addition, I am waiting for Gen. Garner to answer, if he can tear himself away from Miss Clarissa's weekly poker game.

General Ringbloom <salute>

Suh, my compliments!

I found it funny as all get-go, and by your definition I suppose responded in a "deft" manner

I'm sure General Garner will get around to answering your challenge, however being slapped "deftly" with white cotten gloves may not have distracted him from the full house he was holding with money on the table. Nicodemus called his last bid and raised him 25 cents; he's now considering if it's a bluff and whether or not to call.

You will have your contest from this "militia without shoes", "organized rabble", or "mob", so don't worry yourself over it. II Corps has 12 officers committed so far and perhaps another couple may reply to the dispatches sent out after seeing your official challenge.

Highest regards,

Neal: I have your officers listed but no one from I or III Corps has reported in. I need those officers who have volunteered.- Drex

General Ringbloom <salute>

Suh, my compliments!

I can only offer the officers from II Corps, and will send a rider with our roster at the earliest opportunity. General Mallory commands I Corps, and I have no information on his officers. There is no III Corps.

Highest regards,

No III Corps? When you click on the AotM link at the top right and get your website, it shows a III Marine Corps. Is that no more? You guys need a refreshing of the site. Our XIX Corps is called "inactive" and one day, given more members, it can activate again.- Drex

General Ringbloom <salute>

Suh, the Army of the Mississippi only recently reinstated corps commands, so the DoR is the best way to determine the order of battle.

I understand Colonel Olinsky is handy at these sorts or endeavors; perhaps he could be assigned to the task?

I'm not particularly interested in the AotM's OOB as I am whose going to show up? Where's Beyersdorf?
