I am looking at running another Club wide tournament in the new year if there is enough interest. It is to be called the "Traitors Tournament" and it will be essentially the same as the Red Badge of Courage Tournament, but CSA Officers can only play as the Union and Union officers as the CSA . I not aware of this type of tournament being run before and the name may put some people off :mrgreen: So I am looking for some feedback. 8)

Suh, if "Traitors Tournament" puts some off, perhaps we could go with "Cross-dressing" :shock:

General Hebert <salute> I thank you for your helpful suggestion :shock: , but that name may be less attractive so to speak

Suh, always happy to throw out alternatives :mrgreen:

I think it sounds like a fine idea, and who of us would mind having superior numbers and supply for a change? I usually don't like playing as the Yank unless in a CSA tournament out of necessity, however if everyone reverses roles I'd certainly throw my hat in.

Highest regards,

General McOmish sir: {salute}

I would also love to take part but I'm not sure I'd be allowed. :oops:

Anyway, I'm not really crazy about the name of your proposed tournament, so I would respectfully request you consider something along the line of "The Coat Turning Tournament" or "Above the Mason, below the Dixon Tournament". Maybe something like that.

Respectfully,

Col. Deano Martin

a "Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnkeeeeeeeeeeeeeee".....cough.....cough.......

but as some will atest....I am a bit odd LOL

General Miller sir:{salute}

I can understand your point, and absolutely respect you for it; but I prefer cornbread in my buttermilk. :lol:

Of course I'm a nubie Field Grade Nobody, but wouldn't it be great to have all that arty to play with? Not to mention shoes. :mrgreen:

Other suggestions might be "The Brother Against Brother Tournament" or "The Switch Hitter Tournment" or "The Most Interesting Club In The World Tournament" - "Stay confused my friends".

Anyway, a few more "thoughts while wondering".

Most Respectfully,

Col. Deano

Well, you could always name it the "Cross Dressing" tournament. :mrgreen:

I am currently playing 2 Gettysburg scenarios as a reb for a change, and it is very interesting to me, and I think my opponents are finding it interesting also. I think anyone that doesn't give it a try would be missing out on some good fun. Might take the rebs some time to get used to shoes, and I know my boys miss the fine yankee chow.
