How about the "Billy Reb-Johnny Yank" Tournament?

It took me a whole 30 seconds to figure out what was wrong with those terms, Cadet Crist! Good Lord, the world is upside down enough without further blurring the line on the heritage of our history! "Johnny Yank," indeed! What would Sam Grant have said about that if he had heard the term, or "Stonewall" Jackson, for that matter, if someone had called out, "Hey, Billy Reb?" I think both would have been tempted to reach for their revolvers.

We've not become that jaded with these games, have we? :?

Gentlemen <salute>

I continue to believe that the "Francis B. Armstrong Tournament", recommended by Deano, remains a solid choice.

Gents it would seem that there is enough interest in the concept so I will be putting it to the Cabinet for approval early next year and we will go with the name of "Francis B. Armstrong Tournament", This tournament will not feature the parts of battles as the current RBCT does - shortend line up. Thanks for your input no matter how nutty it was - a key part of the club is about having fun
