Re: Battle of Garnett and Golding Farms
Generals,

Sirs, beg to report that I have joined the 15th Georgia in the field. Today, I have the honor to contact RBC H.Q. from a position about 200 yards to the left of the brick house occupied by Mr. James Garnett. My pickets have not yet reported any contact with a US player and I was not given a player name before I left the column last week.

I plan to camp here and await developments.

Respectfully & etc,

thanks Ernie, but one officer is supposed to have only one game ongoing at any given time.
have you finished Pea Ridge against Gen Busey ?

MG Chatain, <salute>

I am willing to play Gen. Sands at Beaver Creek Dam unless he prefers to play Oak Grove. Also what does "close as CSA MV by April 20" mean?

Thanks,

John

Gen Newton, <salute>,

We can perhaps make an exception if you both agree to play the game and keep a good pace.
Allowing only one game at a time is to make sure the games are played quickly enough.
Cam will have the final word on this.

As to your other question, it means that we consider that the battles released on the 5th of April have now been available for take up long enough.
So if no Union officer is willing to play this one by the 20th, the CSA will win all the points awarded (as if the battle had been played and the result was a rebel major victory) due to a withdrawal on the Union side;

MG Chatain, <salute>

Thank you for the quick reply. I can keep up a good pace but it will vary from week to week depending on work and family. If Cam says no, or Ernie decides to play Oak Grove instead, then maybe another Union officer will step forward by the 20th.

Regards,

John

you're welcome.

I wasn't thinking about yourself. this would be your first tournament battle so you are compliant with the tournament rules. the trouble is more about Gen Sands who already has another tournament game ongoing but which should be not far from the end so it may be alright .
otherwise let's see if another Union officer steps up before the 20th

stay tuned :D

I didn't realize the one game rule. We are not that far along in Pea Ridge, so I guess it best to withdraw my challenge, at this time.
