Does anyone else think that the MDT is becoming too cluttered? Let's archive or relocate some of this admin and special information stuff into some new sub-forums where it belongs. :idea: :)

A bit of house cleaning would be a wonderful idea, it has become a challenge to find the latest post among the old entries.

Did a little clean up shifting some threads to appropriate subsections a while back but all the election stuff is supposed to go into archive, but I'm not sure when. I think it's good to keep that stuff for a while as even the sporadic visiting members should get a clue of the elections that happened.

They usually just get unpinned and reset to a normal post. They then should fall into the appropriate chronological spot for them in the Mason-Dixon based on the last post date, like any other post does. This way it maintains the "historical record" so to speak of the Mason-Dixon itself.

The election posts can be demoted sometime after Dec 1st. That should be plenty of time to be read.

That sounds like a reasonable time frame if folks are ok with another week and a few days?
