Post subject:  Notice of UNION COA election Nominations-CLOSED

This announcement is to present information for the upcoming election of the position of the UNION Chief of Army. The current UNION COA: Derald Riggs, has reached the end of his 2nd term and so an election has to take place according to the club rules. General Riggs is not eligible to be nominated for this election period, as he has served out 2 full terms.

The Election Committee consists of:
General John Dragan -
Brig. Gen. Christian Hecht -
General Scott Ludwig -
General Cameron McOmish -

The dates of the election are as follows:
February 4 to February 10 - Nomination Period
February 11 to February 24 - Campaigning Period
February 25 to March 3- Voting Period

Please note that the Campaigning Period & Voting Period will only take place if there is more than one nominee. In case there is only one club rule applies and the nominee will be elected by acclamation. In the election of a CoA, only members at the rank of Lieutenant General or General, at the time the voting period begins, may vote for the CoA representing their respective military group. The Election Committee will use the Department of Records to verify ranks to determine office eligibility, and such other criteria as may be necessary to determine voting eligibility. Nominations for the CoA may be made by any regular officer subject to the restrictions in Rule

All officers of the ACWGC are encouraged to participate in this process as it is not only important for each side but for the club overall. The Club wouldn't be here without all of you as members and those of us who help to run the Club.
It is requested that commands inform their members at every level in order to ensure the best possible participation

All details regarding this election can be found under the club rules section 3.3 Club Governance.
Details for the appropriate steps of nomination, campaigning and voting will be detailed in the corresponding threads.
