Please have a drink on me.....here is a bag of gold a Yankee Paymaster was so nice to give to me....shame he didn't know what hit him.........after my escape from Camp Douglas...I made it back to South Carolina for R&R

I am returning to the fray and await orders from Richmond

Until then ...Gray and Blue are welcome to my tab....

General Miller! <Salute> It is good to see you Sir! I'm glad to see ya got out of the Salkehatchie Swamps and escaped Camp Douglas too. Last I heard you were putting up the good fight, but lost track of ya.

I'll send you a message as soon as I can, but your old unit is still there for you to command!
