Appointment of Command for Larry Mills

Officers of the Confederate States of America (CSA) Armies & Fellow Club Members,

On behalf of the CSA Chief of the Armies (CoA) Staff & the CSA Command Staff, I am happy to announce the following appointment to higher command within the Army of Northern Virginia (ANV):

Please join me in celebrating, the tab is being paid by myself and the bar is open all night. Plus the Social Committee of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Richmond will have an all day BBQ and Moonlight and Magnolias dance at night! Let us have a good ol' time! 8)

I find it highly unusual to be thanking folks in blue uniforms for their expressions of congratulations! However, it does seem only appropriate that we share a few moments of cheer and good-natured companionship. So when you fine gentlemen find yourselves once again the victims of a flank march by Jackson's Foot Cavalry do remember this day and smile boys just wave and smile!!

Thanks to all and until General McOmish arrives the drinks are on me. Oh dam there he is!! Ok three drink limit :D

Now lets whip this corps into shape!!

Larry, to think it was a little over a year ago that you returned to the colors and now here you are commanding one of the most prestigious Corps in the gaming Club!

Say, barkeep, please I would like a mint julep to celebrate the appointment of a fine Southern Officer! SALUTE!

I'd like to add that at VMI we endeavor to impress upon our Cadets the importance of enjoying some of the finer aspects of life, such as a good drink in moderation! We of course understand that those in the field often do not have a choice of beverage only what is at hand! :mrgreen:

General Kunz I hope that mint julep is not the ANV version, the CSA AoT version is more of a mans drink, we don't use mint, refined sugar or Seltzer water, just the Tenseness bourbon whiskey,
