This was a photo of five ACWGC members, taken in 2004 at the Antietam National Battlefield. This photo only includes first names. I'll buy a round of drinks in honor of the first person who correctly identifies all five. :D

Hey, I can't see with all those dirty rude Rebs standing in the way! I'm sure it's a distinguished group of noble Union officers....once...*trying to move them aside* these....Rebs…. move aside, I'll be able to see. :P

2004 Photo at Antietam. Looks cool. Hope you guys had a great time.

I'll take a shot at it:
Mark Nelms
Larry Mills
Dave Martin
Doug Strickland
Don (?) not recalling anyone with that name. Was he the BF tour guide? :)

All I can deduce from the photo is that none of them is a fellow Reb, all them fall short when it comes to good looks

I'll give y'all a hint: All the Rebs are standing on one side of the fence, and all the Yanks are standing on the OTHER side of the fence. :D

Maybe...
Mark - no idea
Larry 'Notso' Quick (pretty sure)
Doug Strickland (guessing)
Dave Danner (guessing)
Don Golen (maybe?)

There's some old information on the Aoc Site: http://www.unioneaglesonline.com/AotC/a ... tm#Records
I dare say some of the other sites have old records, too.

Maybe we need a Club Historian?

OK, I've got 3 of them......

Mark Zapp
Larry Quick
Don Adams
& Dave.. Mallory(?)

From Don's old post...

Doug,

On the afternoon of our meeting at Antietam last summer, Mark Zapp, Larry Quick, Larry's son John, and I went to South Mountain. The marker for Blum is indeed there, near the arch memorial for journalists. It is a small metal plaque, as I recalll, about 12" by 8" on a stake in the ground in the grassy area to the right of the arch. I thought I took a picture of it but I could not find it.
My pictures from South Mountain, mostly of the markers that detailed the events of the battle are located at my web site:
http://www.rootsandsaddles.com/Monacacy_Antietam.htm
South Mountain pictures are after the Antietam pictures. Pictures of the gaps from Middletown were not very clear because it was very hazy that day.

I think Dave is Dave McGown, who was a Reb in the early 2000s. Played against him several times back then.

The Doug is Doug Burke, long time member who was a Union Cabinet Member, real good guy, tough hombre to fight, and loved marathons.
