And the old man is taking a long nap. Feel free to disagree or add to what has been posted; to bring up topics and tips that I missed; or to start a new thread of your own concentrating on how to fight using a different set of options because using different options changes the whole complexity of the battle. I hope that what has been posted has done some good here and there and I will see you on the battlefield!

General Simms, Sirs! <salute>

Ned, I read everyone of them and enjoyed them all.

Say, is there going to a bar set up and offering General Officers some libation? That is sure to draw a crowd!

General Simms <salute>

I have thoroughly enjoyed rambling with you and have learned yet more about the complex tactics the JTS games require which still cry out to be dealt with in a global update to the Rules Manual for the ACW series of games (are you seeing this Rich?).

I have created a document of all of your posts and will be sending that to the people in my command and to the Superintendents of VMI and the UMA with a recommendation (which I expect is superfluous knowing Nick and Scott) that it be included in training materials provided to cadets in their academies.

My best regards sir!

I read all of you posts too Ned. Good work and as a result let's go to the bar and have some drinks on Mark Nelms's tab.

Take a break then continue you "old war horse". Duty calls and I am certain you will have more to share in the future. Perhaps some words on particular battles or scenarios.

Most impressed with your ramblings, General Simms. Your genuine support for your fellow players is most appreciated.
