Watched the first two parts, plan to watch the last installment tonite, I have On Demand and I can watch it when I want. I've read Grant's Memoirs and Simpson's and Chernow's books on Grant. Glad to see he's finally getting some of the credit he deserves after the efforts of the 'Lost Cause' authors to put down his accomplishments. The one thing that struck me in Grant's Memoirs was unlike so many ACW officers who later wrote books, he didn't place blame on others and from my reading of other authors historical books on several battles there were occasions where he really could have. |

I checked out the Grant series (I now know he was a Yank). I did not think it was as good as the History Channel series about Hitler’s super secret killer Wombat Corps. Or the one they did about WW2 Aliens. |
