Probably not the clearest, but each brigades start point a d attack flow is diagrammed. Taken from Little Round Top.

When was the picture taken? The last time I visited Gettysburg was before the NPS begin to restore the landscape there to its 1863 appearance. Where I was last standing near this location (1986) all I could see was second growth forest--no hint of the importance of the position. As so often is this case, a picture can speak a thousand words and this one surely does.

This photo I'm not sure when it was taken but this one was taken 2 years ago from around the same spot. NPS is going an amazing job in their 1863 restoration.
