*enters tavern, exhaling a large cloud of smoke from a rather nice cigar*
Have to say I love what they have done with the place since General Miller's Comedy show.
Brings to mind an incident that happened the night of the said offense.
*pours tumbler full from a bottle of Old Crow*
The ruckus from the tavern disturbed me as I was deep in study in the Union Military Library. Walking towards the tavern, I saw a poor, thread-bare, barefoot Johhny...on the roof!
I yelled up to the poor soul, "Johnny...whatever are you doing up there?"
"Why, hell fa-r, Yank, haven't you heard? General Miller said drinks were on the tavern tonight!"
Now, no one will question the quality of General Miller's moonshine, which I'm sure had a lot to do in both of these unfortunate situations, but it does bring into question overall basic Reb intelligence.
Anyone see an ashtray? I havent seen one since General McOmish's horse ate the last one.
