Gentlemen, Sirs! <salute>

It is my pleasure to announce the arrival of the following Cadets:

Cadet Denny Holt, Image comes to us from Georgia and has an impressive number of JTS ACW Campaigns: Antietam, Atlanta, Chancellorsville, Chickamauga, Corinth, Franklin, Gettysburg, Overland, Ozark, Peninsula, Shiloh & Vicksburg.
Cadet Denny Holt has been assigned Brigadier General Rob Meadows for his training.

Cadet Paul Allaway, Image resides in the United Kingdom and is a friend of BG Walt Dortch which is why he signed up with us. :mrgreen:
Paul has JTS Campaign Gettysburg plus Forge of Freedom (FoF) Cadet Allaway will begin his training with Brigadier General Rob Meadows.

These 2 Cadets represent the 15th & 16th Cadets to have joined for this year! We only had 6 Cadets graduate in all of 2019!

A BIG shout out to the ACWGC Recruiting Team for spreading the word about the Club!

Respectfully submitted,

Your Obedient Servant,

General Nick Kunz
Commandant,
Vicksburg Military Institute

Great news, General Kunz! Glad to see that you've also added the able talents of Gen. Blackburn and Gen. Meadows to your VMI instructor staff to help handle these historical increases in new cadets.

UMA has seen a similar increase this year, with 10 cadets graduated and 3 more currently in training, as well as 6 returning officers in refresher training. That's 19 total so far this year versus an average of 6-7 each of the last 3 years for UMA. And like VMI, we've been pleased to add the outstanding services of Gen. Dortch, Gen. Sober, and Col. Boling to our pool of active instructors at UMA.

Like you, I credit these welcome additions to our Club's membership to the outstanding efforts of our ad-hoc recruiting team - Gen. Walt Dortch, Gen. Loren Drummond and Col. Jim Boling. On behalf members on both sides of the Club, many thanks, gentlemen!

<SALUTE>

Gentlemen <salute>

The team set a goal of 100 new applications (in April) for 2020 and we are a third of the way there!

Awesome job guys! Keep up the efforts for recruitment on all the forums, websites, and social media platforms you can. With millions of Civil War buffs out there we should be able to reel in 100 in 2020!
